Abandoned cars

It was the best fall day - sunny, breezy, 50's.  We went off the path, down a semi-steep hill, to poke around two old cars left in the middle of a conservation area.

We had a family outing to the Brookfield Zoo last Sunday.  It was probably the last nice day of the season.

Apple fest

Vince and I went to Long Grove's Apple fest yesterday.  There was apple cider, apple donuts, apple ice cream, apple pie, apple beer.  Apple everything.  And yet, while driving to the festival, we ate pumpkin donuts for breakfast. xD  But we took home apple donuts!
